Would BUSA change the finish from brushed to polished? Does anyone know how much this would cost?

I would think it would be highly unlikey that BUSA would do that as Breitling are very particular about keeping watches standard and original. I know that BUK would DEFINITELY refuse to do it.

To give an example, a friend of mine with Chronomat B01 asked BUK if they would swap the polished bezel for the brushed version, and they refused...... even though the brushed bezel version is a standard model! They said they will not change a watch's configuration from standard.

That said, BUSA may be more lenient as I understand that they were prepared to do the B01 bezel swap, whereas BUK wasn't. Best bet will be to just give them a call and ask.

If they won't do it, there are any number of jewellers out there who will do it for you.

Why do you want to go from brushed to polished. Polished finishes are scratch magnets.

I wanted the opposite for my Avenger Skyland (love it, but brushed would be much more beautiful), but in Japan the modification was promptly rejected by the AD.
It was sometime ago, and now I can understand how silly it was to even think they would do such a modification...

Yeah, usually it's the other way around. One of these days I'm gonna have my Colt bracelet brushed and be done with it.

you can have it polished, then bushed back, and even light sand blasted, PVD'd all expensive and they work well for different finishes.

best to source it your self there are great customization's out there.

And doing some of those things would result in Breitling refusing to touch the watch again.

true but i am not a serial flipper, i keep all mine, and service them including the Emergency, i am not going down the breitling service route, way to expensive and a long drawn out service and never had a problem selling a watch.same with the Rolex over priced nothing that cannot be sorted as long as you can access the parts.

Somebody did that to a Skyland a while back. There were a lot of pics here. I think it ended up being sold here in the BST if im not mistaken.

I just talked to BUSA about my Airfwolf which they have right now for an overhaul. I wanted to change it to a brushed finish and they said "we can't do it, because we do not alter the original condition in which the watch is in"
