Hi there - My lovely wife surprised me after years of nagging a nice watch for xmas - a Colt Chrono II . Wow I was surprised and this gift was supposed to be for me building her house 7 yrs ago - I wanted a Panerai ....... Never thought I'd get anything. Well I dont like the Colt -no offense just not my style. She paid in a well known Jewlery store in Boston area 3200.00 with no negotiating at all on the black face with bracelet piece . - They said it was 3800.00 msrp ....Well - I cant find any msrp on the new watches -just what I see on the Online stores -authentic watches .com -jomas shop etc - I dont trust these though .... They list for under 3000.00 for nicer . I'm looking for MSRP on the Super Ocean 42 ,44 , Heretige and of course the Colt she bought -So I am at least informed and not going up against an ex car salesman when I go to exchange /return it ......I really like the 42 and 44 with Bracelet and want to know what I should expect to pay for this at an AD . I also would like to know if its worth it to buy from these big online companies that have thousands of good ratings but also a lot of bad ones .

Thanks

E

Go to the official Breitling website - www.breitling.com and on the left hand side look at Models then within the chosen watch you can use the Made to Measure to find out the price; however, I don't see the Colt Chrono II with a listed price yet. And jomashop.com is a good source to quickly find out the listed retail price of each watch.

I show the Colt Chrono listed at $3,180 on the steel bracelet. The prices on the SO 42 and 44 that sharkman listed are correct.

That is the old Colt Chrono. The new Colt Chrono II is $3500, new and improved for your entry level quartz viewing pleasure. ;)

There is also a SOH (superocean heritage) 42 that is 42mm case size.
Good luck!

It says Colt chrono 2 msrp 3850.00 on Breitling site. The So 44 -there is no info -says call for price everywhere I put in local retailers....Wow I'm undecided on what to go for ....The SO heritage looks very sweet - I like that SO 44 in red or blue too - I have a boat and swim a lot - I'm no Diver -

Corect - that info wasn't there yesterdayfor the Colt Chrono II. So basically 4 grand! It JUST keeps getting worse. Two years ago an Avenger Skyland automatic chrono was $4,550 on the bracelet. Now a Colt quartz chrono is just $700 below that. :(

It's rated at 200M so you would likely be ok. My personal rule is I'm not taking any watch rated at less than 300M in the water and NO chrono without screw down pushers regardless of the rating. I'm overly conservative.
