I told a friend that I was looking for a Breitling watch and his friend has one for sale. It is a Titanium Aerospace with a carbon fiber band..he has the box and all paperwork, he just does not wear it and has recently been layed off and needs the money. He does have the original clasp with the old band from Breitling..

He was asking $1000.00 and I told him I would give him $800.00 cash for it. Is this a pretty good deal? And...is that gold with the titanium? I am new to buying watches and just trying to get some input from the knowledgeable people on here. He said he will meet me at a local Breitling dealer so there is no doubt.

Yes, but if he's a friend, give him the $1000 :D

Yes. The rider tabs are 18k.

No need, it's 100% genuine.

FYI, the was was made between 1996 and 1998 and uses the older non-COSC, non SQ movement which was updated in 2001.

800-750$ Is a good price. Most comfortable watch you'll ever own.
