Well my LE navi broke again. In less than three months it is not functioning for the second time. I wear this watch maybe 2-3 times a month on weekends. The chrono sweep hand now stops 3 secs. short of 60 when you start it. It starts but stops at 57 secs. I took it to the AD and told them I was done. They have agreed to take it back and give me store credit. Still love my other Lings and I really did like this one but the new movement is to unreliable for a 7k watch.

I am sorry it did not work out for you. If you like the watch, why not just insist on a new watch/movement instead of a repaired watch? You obviousy got a lemon. It happens with all manufactured items.

Not a cool Christmas present at all. Sorry to hear but if I'd had this amount of trouble I'd be done too.

Hopefully you'll have better luck with your next watch. It might be worth letting Breitling know about your ordeals - just so they know what their lack of care has wrought.

Maybe I don't want the Navi 01 now. Sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience with that watch. Such a shame.

My money is on the 42 - mah has gorilla wrists.

So far no problems with my LE (or the non-LE from before). I wear it most of the time. And I'm not exactly timid while wearing it. It has become my favorite for certain.

Man that's pretty disappointing. I'm hearing a lot of drift from Breitling to Rolex.

Maybe you just got a "monday morning" movement...
Something like this happens with ALL types of products!
My brother in law's mother bought a audi a4 cabriolet and that car had problems ALL the time! Same story with a friend's Porsche Panamera turbo, nothing but problems, and that for a + 100.000 € car.

My point... It happens everywere.

If I were you, i would ask for a complete new movement! I'm 100% sure you won't have any problems from then on.

Still, it's sad that it happens.

:yeahthat Still we all get to make our own decisions. Not sure how I'd feel if, like Mark, I already had to send it back once. But I really love the 01 LE. I literally have difficulty taking it off my wrist. I've had and still have many watches I truly enjoy putting on my wrist, but this is the first I have trouble removing for another watch. I didn't think the display back would mean much either, but though I rarely look at it, knowing it is there, that the movement is in-house, and that it's a Breitling with a display back give it a boost for me as well.

I am getting the Rolex Explorer II 42 mm Black dial. I cant believe I am buying a Rolex. I have always been a closet admirer, they just had to come up with the right size for me. I had the GMT on it is very nice but 40mm is too small. The other larger styles, Deep Sea? in my opinion used too small of a bracelet. Just looked odd to me. I was looking at their website and they seem to be coming up with some innovative ideas with the hair spring material they now use. They also seem to hold value a little better. It arrives Thursday from Las Vegas I am pretty excited to see it.

I still have a couple Lings and love them, the EVO and Chronomatic 44. The Chronomatic has a smoother pusher action than the others. Must be a different movement????

BTW- Breitling would not replace the movement- or take the 01 back. Repair only.......Sucks, I really liked the 43mm size.

I recently traded for a Paneri 111 and really like to wear it. I never thought I would say that either. It is a 44mm so it is not too huge.

I will post photos as soon as possible...

ETA 2892, left hand crown. I'm sure you will enjoy the new Explorer.

I'll keep my fingers crossed nothing happens with my 01 LE. I was just sitting here admiring the dial. I do that a lot.
