I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on a SOH46 on strap, but was hoping someone out there could comment on the fit/finish/detail of this watch before I pluck down my hard earned money to grab one. Thank you.

I have the SOH46 on the mesh strap. The case is uncomplicated by very well made. The build is terrific! In fact, in my collection I think I am most impressed with this watch. The dial is simple but very well done. My movement is very accurate in all positions. The mesh strap is very comfortable. I can't say enough about this watch. If you are considering buying it, I would recommend the mesh strap but later, buy a leather strap to change it up. I bought an aligator black strap to go with it, but I like the mesh so much that I have only changed it about 10% of the time.

Does the mesh bracelet pull on arm hair? I'm not quite Robin Williams hairy but i've got a fair amount.

No it is very confortable but some of us have had to lightly file down a couple of sharp edges on the side of the mesh. But once you have that all fixed up it is a very comfortable bracelet in fact, for me the best bracelet of all my watches. I also have some hair on my arms and it does not pull at all.

a SO 44! I chose it over the SOH 46 because it is more of a hardcore diver, and it has the rubberized bezel which should resist scratching better.

Congrats! If a it was a true diver you wanted, you made a wise choice. The SOH46 is many things, but not a watch I would swim in, even though you can. Plus if lume is your thing, then the SOH is probably not your watch.
