I have been offered one of these on a strap, but I cannot find a great deal of information on its value.

It's steel on a strap; I'm not sure if the strap / buckle / clasp are original or Breitling signed.

What would have been the correct bracelet on this watch? How wide would it be at the lugs?

How desirable is this model?

Any information would be greatly appreciated . . .

This will help with some of those questions - http://www.breitlingsource.com/watch_de ... ne_84.html

Pricing information is in the FAQs, #2 here - http://www.breitlingsource.com/articles_faq.shtml#8 and there are currently 4 automatics listed on Chrono24 as comparables - http://www.chrono24.com/en/search/index ... tview=list

Thank you for the info - it's very helpful!

One more question. The Breitling Source says the watch takes a 20mm Professional bracelet.

Are there different end-pieces for the Professional, or is it one size fits all?

They are different, but I don't have references for the Shark Auto, other members likely will as there are a few Shark owners here.

I bought a Chrono Shark from another member here. Really nice watch (mine is at the spa for new dial, hands, etc...), but is the white dial with black subs and very sharp looking. Good size, sits nice on the wrist, nice weight.

The bracelet is the Pro I as Roff indicated. I don't know the endlink #s. The size is 20mm. It would look very nice on a black calf on Diver Pro II as well.
