Post subject:  Chrono-matic 1461
Hi, I'm looking for a Chrono-matic 1461 with the Brown ("Panamerican Bronze") dial. I spoke to an AD who advised this is no longer available as the only version now the red bezel, black dial that I thought was just a Limited Edition. Does anyone know for sure?

Same thing.

It was available with black, silver (white) or bronze dials.

Thank you very much. Has anyone seen one recently, if so where? I thought it was a 2010 model but this website says its 2009.

Were 2000 total made, or 2000 of each of the 3 colour dials?

It's 2009 - 40th anniversary of the original chrono-matic. A total of 2,000 were produced from memory but I don't recall the dial mix.

I was just watching poker on tv and was thinking you meant Jennifer Tilly - can you imagine her an a Breitling ambassador? With the shirts she always wears I don't think anyone would ever look at what she has on her wrist.

I found it! Thank you for the posters and PM's. I ended up on Jomashop as they had recently got one in stock, price of $5,771 vs. retail of $9,950. I had called in to confirm as it suddenly appeared over the weekend as "in stock" vs the usual "3-5 weeks", but also it had the Ocean Racer strap, that I already have, so I wanted to see if I could swap. They looked into it and advised they were having a sale tonight/tomorrow of a bunch of watches they just got in stock and this was one of them so from $7,407 with the 10% off, now down to $5,771. Not sure what the inventory is that they just received and will be blowing out, but it will be a few dozen watches.
