I just heard from a friend (AD) that they were told to pull all Travolta images and destroy them.
Any one able to confirm if they are ending the long running relationship?

crazy, just the other day wasnt he on camera in front of a Rolex ad and flashed his breitling? its almost like that was a final "F*** you" to breitling before he went to Rolex.

Although it should happen, we all know it wont. Has every one seen the price on the new chronomat GMT? OUCH!! :shock:

BTW, if Travolta did got to Rolex, i am guessing the courted him pretty heavily. The have not been happy with the growing presence of Breitling in the jewelers cases in ADs

I'm actually disappointed to hear this. I think Travolta was a good fit with the Breitling brand. He had the fame, but was also an accomplished pilot. Clearly, something went wrong at some point. I really can't see Travola having much interest in Rolex, so I'm sure it was all about money. He hasn't been making quite as many movies as of late, so maybe he needed the extra cash flow.

I for one don't much care which Hollywood hack turd is promoting Breitling or any other watch. I buy for the brand and the quality and my personal taste not because some dancing douche tool scientologist is wearing the brand.

I never liked Travolta anyway... He isn't - what you call - the hippest kid on the block.

IF they would look for a new "ambassador", I would like one of these:

- Ryan Reynolds
- Taylor Lautner
- Justin Timberlake
- Jake Gyllenhaal
- ...

A young hip Hollywood guy... I think it would help to make the brand more populair with the youngsters.

Just my 2 cents ;).

Well,

I have to admit that I have never thought much of Travolta anyway so Rolex are welcome to him.

I think that Daniel Craig would make an excellent Breitling ambassador - okay, I know that traditionally 007 is associated with Omega but hey, it's not so long ago that he ditched the Aston (shame on him :) ) for the BMW. Now, I think Aston and Breitling would go really well together (come on Breitling - pull your finger out).

What about Matt Damon - he's pretty good too but I don't know if he sports other brands.

There's a few others whose names elude me for now but I will edit this later if they come to me :D .

edit: Liam Neeson was one :D
