The a17345 SuperOcean Professional comes from Breitling with a completely "Satin" finish. Breitling left the Professional brushed to avoid attracting aggressive fish with "glinting" that can be created by the polished finish? Do you feel the value of the watch is reduced by polishing it? Would you buy one that had been polished? For example, a two tone bracelet (center row brushed) and the case polished with the bezel remaining satin?

Looking for you opinion so don't be shy...

most of the model years and all of the recent ones are polished. It wouldn't look out of line.

I like the satin/brushed finish better on the SO and Colt models, leave the polish for dress watches :) .

I'd left it's original satin finish.

If you want a scratch magnet polish it.

Love it the way it is. Mine have been through hell and barely even show it. If they were polished.....ouch.

Leaved brushed. Not a big fan of mods full stop (period).

I like the Professional a lot and I wouldn't buy one if it had been polished. In the past I've thought about buying the SO non-Pro and having it brushed.
