Would be glad of the advice Iain Good is a difficult term to quantify. It's a COSC certified Breitling - same as all of the other modern Breitlings. It's water resistant to 1,000m so probably waterproof enought for your needs. It's Titanium - some see that as a plus, some a minus, it's really a matter of choice. It is a Quartz movement rather than mechanical, and it is being discontinued. |

Hard to add anything to what Roff said. What it comes down to is whether you like titanium and quartz movements. If you do then it's a great watch. If you don't, better to look elsewhere. |

To add, I believe the M1 uses a SuperQuartz movement which is Thermocompensated. This means that it adjusts to the outside temperature changes in order for it to be accurate. |

All modern Breitling Quartz are thermocompensated in order to get COSC certification. |
