I screwed it counter-clockwise to get the pin to open. I was able to set the date but I cannot set the time.. I remember reading something about rotating it 40x in the manual, but I can't seem to find it. please help. |

To set the time, you have to pull the crown all the way to the end. Then move the time forward or backwards, it's your choice. "Moving it 40 times" is to wind the watch it's available when you unscrew the crown. |

i don't think a navitimer needs to be wound. Hutt is correct about pulling the crown all the way out to set the time. First position is for date, second position time. |

What do you mean it doesn't need to be wound? If there is no power in the power reserve, you need to wind the watch. OP, that gives the "power" needed to your watch to work. The automatic movement is going to keep that power after with the movement of your wrist. |

I wear the watch all the time, it never needs to be wound, maybe the first time, but after that the motion from your wrist will keep it going |

And to set the time on the GMT pull to first notch and turn it clockwise (I think) anyway one way sets the date the other sets the GMT |
