Post subject:  Help to puirchase BREITLING watch

I am looking to buy a Ocean Heritage 47 watch the only problem I have is that the high street shops are charging £400 to £500 dearer than I can find on the internet.

Does anyone have any advice on any reputible internet sites because I don't want to get ripped off and am unsure as to how to proceed.

Thanks for your Help :D

Welcome.
Heres a link to a list of trusted on-line sellers that this excellent forum has endorsed.

However, its worth trying to get a discount from your nearest Authorised Dealer too, you never know.

Hi and :welcome: to the forum.

Am guessing it's a typo and it's the SOH 46 you're after.

Have a look in the forum for feedback on sellers:

http://breitlingsource.com/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=7

This will let you search through the internet options open to you and decide where to buy.

A lot of guys will encourage you to use an AD (Authorised Dealer) - especially 1st time but unless you can find one willing to give you a good discount on a 1st purchase it may not be possible.

In that case do a bit of research through the forum (above) and you'll probably be more than happy.

Just remember - whoever you buy through - make sure you ask ALL the right questions 1st - then there'll be no surprises!

I recently bought through Interwatches (find them on eBay or direct) and was delighted except for the fact that they cut the last page out the warranty booklet - this gives the dealer details for the warranty. I knew the 2 yr warranty was with Interwatches & not Breitling but it made my watch incomplete in a way. Only a little thing but just an example of the things to remember to ask.

Good luck - no doubt there will be more help from the more experienced guys.

No luck yet!

Looking through this website constantly 4 the last 3 days and came across some pics of an SA and nearly fell of my chair it looked so good so I am totally in two minds now its either the SA with black face for a couple of hundred more or the SOH with bracelet!!

Not sure what to do now cos I was convinced I wanted the SOH.

By the way this has 2 be 1 of the best sites I've come across on the net, loads of good advice from genuine blokes and all the info u need 2 buy your 1st Ling!.

If the net is cuasing you to change your mind, you had better not step foot in an AD.

Difficult isn't it?

The SA is another on my shortlist. If you nearly fell off your chair when you saw a picture you'de better be well prepared when you see one for real. It's one hell of a watch - I hadn't considered one until I saw one for real and it was love at first sight.

Sounds like you need a w/e on the mainland! Go armed with the best online price and try to get as close as possible in an AD - if they play ball buy one, if not go online.

Good luck! :D
