Good evening. I have just bought my first Breiling - a 46 Superocean Heritage on a rubber deployment strap. I think it is really nice looking timepiece. My question is simple as forgot to asking the shop. Can I go swimming in either the pool or saltwater wearing the watch Many thanks Paul |

It's rated at 200m so will be fine for swimming. However, salt water is bad on seals and cases so make sure that you rinse the salt off afterwards. |

How long can the watch stay undamaged after salt water exposure? Most beaches do not have fresh water taps, and using the bottled water to rinse off would leave one with less water to drink... |

If you are going to expose it to salt water frequently then make sure that you get the seals checked every year or so. |

Thanks for the prompt reply ![]() I only visit the beach a few times a year. I guess if I change to an aquatic lifestyle, I will take the watch off to dip in the ocean or carry lots of fresh water, heheheh. |
