My name is flange, and I am a breitaholic. I bought my first several years ago, and have gone on to find I have a real problem. I wear a colt every day. Some days, when I need the extra attitude to sell a big project, or meet with an important client, I wear the navi, which I happen t really like. Then recently, I bought an SA. I am starting to see a flaw in this, as the latter two are never wound when I go to wear them. So, on to my dilemma, do I buy a winder, and keep them, or sell one? Each speaks to me in different ways, but I wonder if I just have a problem? |

Buy a winder, and treat yourself to an additional Breitling. You know it makes sense! |

If you don't have any compelling reason to sell, it's a no-brainer. The luxury of being able to pick up any of your watches and put it on, at a moment's notice, without worrying about setting the time, is another dimension of enjoying the quality watches you own. |

Just hand wind each day. It's a way of having some time with your watches whether you wear them or not. |

You'll regret selling regardless of which watch you chose to sell. I'd keep both, and either get a winder of just deal with having to wind them. Actually I'd wear them more often and not give them chance to run down. ![]() |

Definately seems to make more sense to treat yourself to a nice new winder ![]() |

If both watches speak to you in some way, get yourself a winder - you'll regret it if you decide to sell one. However, if you really are set on selling one, I'd suggest selling the SA. The Navi is infinitely more timeless and I guarantee you'll still enjoy wearing that in 20 years. The SA on the other hand........ probably not. |

I should have known better than to ask this crowd a question like this, and yes, it makes sense to get a winder I suppose. I guess it boils down to me being lucky these days to be doing well while others arent soo lucky. Growing up poor, and now being what most would consider well off makes me sometimes stop to think. My initial thought was to actually sell off some things, and pick up some overdue bills for less fortunate families for the holidays. Upon reviewing the yar end forecast for the business with my accountant, and discussing this topic, I can do some serious giving without taking away from the things I worked so hard to get. I specifically want to help a local school that provides a very good education for working class families children. They do so via help from friends, special events and taking only what the families can actually afford. |
