...not sure if you guys have seen this yet. Its certainly worth a look if you haven't! Formation flight is complicated enough with like aircraft. I can't imaging trying to form up on a guy wearing a jet suit!

Yep, seen it, and judging by the scenery, it should be at Bex airport, just miles before Lake Leman.

The guy is accustomed to flying in formation with other "craft":

But the girls' performance is not to be neglected either:

And what to say about his lady:

Very nice!

Maybe I'm missing it but I don't see Rossy wearing a Breitling in any of the flight videos or in any of his photos. It seems a Navitimer would be necessary equipment for a flight like this.

And I can assure you, despite all his feats, the guy remains oh so humble, as you can see in this video.

But then, that's what a real hero is about, no?

We have different definitions of heroes, but yes he does some neat things with a jet strapped to his back.

I see what you mean but one can be a hero in his own way without necessarily having fought in a war, even though the risk undertaken is certainly not of the same nature.

Likewise, for me, a pilot of a demo team is also a hero in his own way.

BJT Team Leader Jacques Bothelin comments: "Just imagine you are flying straight and level you look right and just outside your cockpit, you can see into the eyes of a man flying next to you, smiling while keeping pace with a jet! It is a truly amazing experience and very emotional. We all have so much admiration and respect for Yves "JETMAN" Rossy and his project"
