im looking to buy my first breitling and have been offered a Skyland Avenger blue face (brand new) from a dealer. im interested to find out what the going uk price would be for the above watch, to see if im being offered a good deal or not? i know its a discontinued model.

In actual fact the Skyland Avenger is still going - it was just renamed as the plain old Avenger (for some reason) in 2010, but the watches are the same.

I don't have my price lists to hand but basically you may be able to get a discount off the RRP, of anything up to 20% or so I'd say in the UK. Any more than that and you are doing pretty well. I'm sure someone will be along with the UK RRP on the Avenger soon, so take 20% off it and see how it stacks up with what you have been offered.

excellent cheers, does anyone know the rrp then for this watch?. to cut to the chase i can get the watch for £2400? do you think this is a good price or just a typical price for this model now?

2010 US pricing is here, add VAT & probably 10% increase for 2011 price hikes, should give you a good indication:

Uk list price is £4600 approx for the avenger and i have seen skylands in ADs for the same price. Bargain imo
