Post subject:  POLL; SHOULD I BUY THIS SUPER AVENGER-PHOTOS ADDED
My friend handed me his mint condition black dial Breitling Super avenger. He just had it serviced by Breitling and it has all the boxes and paperwork. It is a creampuff!!!!! He is now more of a Panerai guy and wants to upgrade one of his pannys so he says here if you want it give me $2,900.00. Again its like new and has black dial with silver numbers and on the pro 1 bracelet and it runs like a dream. Want do my fellow Breitling friends think I should do????? HELP!!!!!

A New SA - typically has a waiting period - 1-4 months and costs 40% more than the price you are getting it at.
Esp if the watch is in mint condition with all papers.

But seriously - even here in Dubai - which is the gateway to the entire Middle East, I have a waiting period for my Black Dial SA.
I have been wanting to buy it for a while. Finally, my wife agrees to the Capital Expenditure - and Boom! Prices go Up 1st may 2008 by 20% AND there is a 1-2 month waiting period.
You have a great deal, my friend! DO-BUY! :P

if you have the means and want to be completely happy with a watch....this is the one...."pay the man his money" i have worn mine for two years and recently changed the bracelet out to a pro II and now it is even better and more comfortable...my 2 cents enjoy

Well not to be left out, I would consider that the exchange of a relatively small pile of currency for a honking great watch that will hold your attention and put a smile on your face many times every day is well worth it.

Just buy the darn thing :lol:
