As some of you may be aware I am actively looking for a bezel protector for my B-1.
However, while trying to source the correct one I have come across the matter regarding the number that is in gold on the protector and have decided to try to establish a database to see if the numbers on each individual protector is specific to the model of the watch it is intended to fit.
In order to assist, I was wondering if forum members who have the plastic bezel protector could e mail me at

For example
BEZEL PROTECTOR NUMBER:- 23
BREITLING WATCH MODEL:- B-1
MODEL NUMBER:- A78362
BUILD DATE:-:- 2204.
(A rough date would suffice but if anyone has the facility to take the bracelet/strap off the south inter horns and check the week/year reference on the case, it might help as Breitling's nomenclature for the protector may have changed at certain dates.)I would suggest a PM would suffice instead of e mail but I don't want to clog up my PM Inbox folder so e mail would be better and would allow me to file details pending a final document being produced.
I appreciate that these protectors are not high on many owners priorities of ownership. However, they are supplied with the watches and there would seem to be a reference for each particular model. A database may assist if not only to have as a further piece of info available on this excellent Breitling website. Hopefully the completed document may be given the status of having a link from the home page at some point.
