Hi

New to this forum, just recently managed to get hold of a pre owned 'yellow' emergency. Its had its first service in 2008, so now its news another :( The jewller said they would foot the bill, however on the main antenna there seems to be a red band just before the knurled portion.

Can someone please tell me if this is normal

Many thanks in advance

Is the band flush with the rest of the antenna or recessed?

Hiya

I bet it looks just like this.

After mine was serviced it looks like this, seems the replacement gasket sits better. I guess they can move with the hard wear my watches get.

Hope this assists

Its just the cheap little plastic ring that has the tendency to break off or rotate, neither of which should have any impact on the functionality.

It looks exactly the same but without the 'grey' band. I'm not overly worried as the AD are picking up the cost of the service. I'm sure BUK will make her look fantastic once again ;)

oh and does the emergency have a back light feature?? I can't seem to find it anywhere??

Cheers guys

No backlight for the emergency.
