Post subject:  Want to buy Jupiter Pilot steel Bracelet

Hi,

I´m looking for a bracelet for my Breitling Jupiter Pilot
chrono-alarm-date (A59028) in steel. It´s from ca 1995. They told me at a
shop it should be 21mm, but for me it seems more like 20mm. I
only need to extend it with one link, but if I have to buy the
whole bracelet, I will do that. I red on the Breitlingsource site that the Jupiter can use the Professional bracelet, but they said it couldn´t at the clock shop (Feldmar Watch in Los Angeles). I am confused. Can you please help me.

The lug width for this model may very well be 21mm... I don't really remember where I got the information from so I can't check it. Have you measured it yourself? I am checking more closely and I don't believe this watch fits a Professional bracelet. I am correcting that info now.

Hi. I have measred it myself, and I´m sure it is 20mm. But if this means I can use a Professional 20mm bracelet is the big question. I will try to go back to the clock shop and ask them to try. But off course one link fitting the one I have would be much easier than buying a whole new bracelet..
Thanks.

There are many different types of 20mm professional bracelets, and the lugs on the Jupiter Pilot are very unique to the model.. I have a feeling you will not be able to get it to fit properly without modifying it in some way.
