Post subject:  I am back to B'ling again

Hi Guys

Last year I picked up a chronomat evo for a really good price from a jeweller I use a lot (probably too much!!!)

I had a service and change of face and a load of extra work done, but while it was away, another jeweller contact had received in stock a pre owned rolex I had been after for ages.

Time moved on and I have flipped several watches but today decided my POC's wrist time is up, I checked with the jeweller who took the chronomat from me and to my suprise he still has it and tomorrow I will say goodbye to my POC and collect my old freind unused since its service so it is like a brand new watch.

No more flipping!!!!

Congrats. There are times I wish I had held on to my Evo and just had the dial changed, rather than unload it. Oddly, I just had a dream about it the other night, even though I haven't had it for over a year. Out of curiosity, what's the dial you switched to?

As for no more flipping - I wish you luck. It's not easy to stick to that, although I'm of the belief you'll be happier for it, IF the watch you're keeping is truly one you want.

I changed from a black dial with black subdials to silver with silver subs, next service I may change it to black dial with white subs. Thats the beauty of these watches you can have a new watch each service for a relitavley inexpensive cost.

Correct me if I am wrong but I seem to remember earlier threads saying that a change of dial required a change of model number and case back .

Not that I am aware of, I think Breitling change some paperwork at their end but my paperwork remains unchanged, the service I had did require an new case, glass and crown so in essence is mostly brand new anyway, its previous owner hadn't babied it like I do!!!
