Just got back from the cruise on the Oasis of the Seas....INCREDIBLE ship, and the food is amazing. I was on the 17th floor, had to use a keycard once on the floor to get to the room, the keycard is gold in color, which I am not crazy about, I hate class distinctions (also not crazy about swiping the card twice), but so many 'extras' that are given - access to another part of the ship for "gold keycard holders", invite to the helipad (but I think they gave that to anyone with a suite), checkin/out was a breeze...I offered to take the room attendant who was a really nice Viatnamese man to dinner with us at 150 Central Park (the food there was very good, but an interesting way that they do it - small portions, but filling) - he declined, they can't eat at guest restaurants.
There is an AD on board called Regalia, where Vinny (Indian man, believe his name is Vinod, but goes by Vinny) was talking with me about Breitlings. He has been in the business for 20 years, and extremely knowledgeable, very nice, takes his time and makes you feel like you are the only customer. Would definitely recommend him. Taught me a few things about Breitlings, such as why an in house movement is better than an ETA, how to tell an inhouse movement by the model number, and some other things that I can't remember right now. Showed me a pretty cool one, I don't recall the name of it, but the metal strap has large "holes" in it, he asked me what time it was, so I answered how I would traditionally answer by looking at the watch, which was wrong, since it's based on military time - really cool looking watch.
In Jamaica, there was a large Breitling clock, I attached a picture of it. Tried on a couple watches: Zenith El Primero Split Second hand ($11,400) and a 19 Complications Breitling for Bentley ($11,000). The dealer in Jamaica that had the Breitling for Bentley watch was also very knowledgeable, explained everything to me - showed me the picture of the Bentley that it's created after, also the push buttons on the side of the watch replicate buttons found in the Bentley, he went into some detail about why Breitling and Bentley paired up, and on top of it offered me a beer and water.
