Post subject:  Pro or Titanium Bracelet on Chronospace?

I'll be a first time Breitling owner in a while (have to wait for the custom order to get in...damn it takes so long!). I'm getting the new Chronospace with the diver band, but would like to also get another band. Granted I have not seen the aero classic in person, but I like the looks of the pro (II) or Pro Ti (II) bracelets better than the aero. Will either of those bands fit the Chronospace? I know the watch has 24mm lugs, so does that mean any 24/XX mm band will fit it? Just curious if this is something I have the option of doing. Thanks for the info!

Breitling bracelets are generally unique to the model - it's not just lug width it's the curve of the end links and the location of the springbars. There is no Pro II produced for the Chronospace so highly unlikely that one will fit properly.

That make sense. The picture on Breitling's website of the Chronospace looks like the springbar part of the band is straight across, i.e. not curved to match the bezel, etc. Pictures at least make the pro series of bands appear straight across as well. I have noticed curved bands paired with certain watches, but it seems that since the Chronospace springbar is straight across, any band that is 24mm and straight across at the springbar would work. Am I wrong on this?

Straight end links may fit. The SA Pro II is relatively straight but is a very tight fit against the case - it may physically fit on the Chronospace, but not sure that it will be a practical fit - I would certainly try before committing money.

Thanks for the help. Are the Chronospace and these bracelets "common" items an AD would have? I'm no where near an AD and my best chance is whenever I can get back to the states to visit family with only a short window of time. So, not an option to just drive on down to the local AD and check it out. I guess I'm just hoping I could run into the AD near my parents and check it out, but I won't have the luxury of "come in three weeks, I should have a Chronospace in then."

Bracelets and straps are generally ordered - they only have what is there on watches. The watches themselves will depend on the AD,but worth asking ahead if they can get one to check out - especially if it's a chain that can get one from other stores.

In terms of purchasing, you could do a lot worse than the two US based forum sponsor ADs, Govbrg in PA and Provident in FL.

Well the purchase is already set through a group LE order, so not worried about buying the watch, just wanting to look at strap options. My parents live in Scottsdale, AZ where I know there's an AD. Maybe I'll call them a month or so out and see if they can have a few strap options when I come in...definitely will buy from them as long as it works with the watch. Thanks for the help!
