Is it too big for my wrists? |

Looks alright to me. The key test for me is if the lugs protrude out from the side of your wrist. If they do then the watch is too big, but from what I can see in those pictures, it doesn't. But then again, what's considered too big and what's not is very much a personal thing. |

Sure is a personal thing, but just wonder what you experts think. |

In my opinion it looks great! It is a little high-up on your wrist though, is that where you normally wear watches? Regardless, it looks good! |

Haha, I've just seen some people try on watches high up on the thicker part of their arm and it looks fine in their eyes...as soon as it slips down to the smaller part of the wrist they feel it's too big and regret the purchase. I've done this to try and justify a watch that swamped me because I wanted it so bad (47mm PAM), ended up taking a pretty substantial hit on it.... |

It's personally too big a watch for my tastes - it's especially too thick - but that said, I don't think it looks too big on you, given that it's supposed to be a thick, chunky watch. However, how does it feel? I agree with mboverst that in those pics, it's sitting up a bit high on your wrist, and you may find it resting lower, unless you strap it tightly, which could induce discomfort. What's your wrist size? |

What's your wrist size? I'm not used to wearing a watch at all. Didn't notice it sat too high on my wrist. I remember that it felt strange, especially because it was heavy. I'll measure my wrist a little later. |

I think it looks really good on your wrist. |

It's somewhere around 18 cm or 7 inch. Not sure if I did the measurements correctly. |

lucas wrote: It's somewhere around 18 cm or 8 inch. Not sure if I did the measurements correctly. There's not much to taking a measurement - get a measuring tape, wrap it snugly around the narrowest part of your wrist, and see what it says. If in doubt, take several measurements just to confirm. 8 inches is a pretty substantial size, not too small at all. Assuming that's correct, you can get away with a larger watch, provided it feels OK to you. In contrast, my wrist is 6.5 inches; even a Chronomat Evolution looked too big on me. lucas wrote: I remember that it felt strange, especially because it was heavy. I'll measure my wrist a little later. That may or may not be something you'll get used to. I'm biased against big and heavy watches, precisely because I learned the hard way (buying them) that I never got used to the feeling of them. However, you'll find a lot of people here who have no problem with them, or even like the feeling of them. It's a personal choice, but it's definitely something you will want to take into account before investing in one. |

That looks to me like it works on your wrist. I wouldn't try the Super Avenger though that's sitting there as well. You'll get used to the weight of the watch. |

Tried different 'sizes'. There's also a Colt you can't see because it's behind my hand. I wasn't intrested in the Super Avenger, but the sales man recommened I'd try it on for it's size. Thanks for your help everyone. Please keep them reactions coming. |

Over 44mm in my case! ![]() |
