Would you do it? Basically all I would need is the head since I have the OR Strap with Deployment and a brown calf strap as well. Then I plan on selling the CE head.

Worth the extra couple k?

All opinions welcome! :D

my advice is to definitely do it, i love the flying fish, my favorite for the new collection. but i would sell your watch with the strap, you will get less for it had only. not worth it, start over new and fresh.

we got our first flying fish in a couple weeks ago, i like the brushed/black look a lot

I vote No, BUT that was only to save the Classic Evo. Keep it, and pick up the FF at another stage IMO.

I would imagine you may regret moving the CE in the furture.

Jusy my 2 cent as ye say state side!

I've never had much eve love, its not like the blackbird to me, which i would keep as a classic, there are sooooo many eve's out there, id let it go if i could get goo money for it in a heartbeat. but is a BIG price difference from a used evo to a FF

More so now given, like you say, all you Will get for it.
The ff is one of the nicest in the 2011 line up but as with all the current offerings i take issue with the price!

I'd probably keep the CE, your combo is one of my favorites. Personally, I would add the fish... or maybe even another brand to broaden your collection...

I'd go for the fish as well, but I would still want the bracelet for it.

I fell in love with the FF, but went Chronomat 01 LE for the obvious +'s there.

I sold my CE as well.

Sell the CE and get the FF.

No brainer for me as the FF is without a doubt the best looking B01 powered Chronomat yet made IMO. The brushed finish really tones down the Buckified bezel and the whole thing is very understated a cool.

Couldn't agree more. The FF is awesome!! The B01 LE is also a beauty and can be had at a good discount on the preowned market now. Here's an LE courtesy of one of our forum members. I think it looks outstanding.

Wow! Thanks for post Serg!

Is the entire casing that satin finish? And not to sound like a complete idiot, what is the main difference(if any) from satin to brushed?

Satin and Brushed are the same thing. The B01 LE is brushed (satin) just as the Flying Fish is. I have asked Fear a few times about the Fish but I just can't see dropping the cash on it right now.
