I saw this Navitimer on ebay and -- except for the price, and the Seinfeld nonsense -- really love it. But I haven't been able to find other examples online of this model. Does anyone know what this watch is? http://www.ebay.com/itm/330623281496?ss ... 2744wt_659 |

As stated it's a Navitimer QP LE from about 10 - 12 years ago. |

Thanks, Roff. When I was googling that, the couple of examples that came up just looked a totally different shade of blue -- I guess it was the photos but the same watch.... |

Is it my imagination or is the LE No. missing from the dial, I thought they all had it on there? Not the best colour, but a stunning model none the less. Stef |

I think the seller has just Photoshopped it out for the auction like a lot of folk blank out the serial number. It's got the "No." showing on the dial, so it must be there in real life. |

Joobacca wrote: the Seinfeld nonsense... It may well be nonsense. The watch he wore the longest on the show was a Chronomat on rouleaux bracelet. So if he wore this watch on the show at all, it wasn't for "many years." Later in the run he started mixing things up a bit, wearing a Navi on strap and the occasional three-hand model on Pilot. I'd have to go back and look again, but I don't recall ever seeing him wear a four-register Navi on the show. But you know, even if that wasn't Jerry Seinfeld's watch, I've got a Chrysler Le Baron driven by Jon Voight. |

OK, I stand corrected. As it happens, I've been working my way through the Seinfeld shows for the umpteenth time (I have the entire series on DVD). I just started season 7, and Jerry is clearly wearing a four-register Navi, on what appears to be black calf. (Episode 702 - "The Postponement," in case anyone is curious.) I thought I would have remembered something that distinctive, but obviously I didn't. As far as I'm aware, it's the first time he wears a Breitling other than a Chronomat on the show. Whether or not the watch for sale is actually the one he wore on the show is anyone's guess. |

FEAR wrote: no. but its got no papers, i wouldn't buy that watch with no box or papers I wouldn't either, at that price. Then again, I wouldn't buy that watch anyway, given how many other watches I'd get first. |

If it is indeed one of Seinfeld's watches I would ask for provenance. |
