I just looked Costco.com and didn't see them available. If Breitling really did cut a deal with Costco it's the beginning of the end. I'm here to tell you if one person says they've seem my Navi World available at Costco I'll sell it that afternoon.

Costco has been grey market selling a number of brands, including Breitling, for years.

The local costco here in NJ has a white SA for the same price listed above. It doesn't seem like such a great deal though. The good thing is,per a Costco employee, is that they'll take the watch back if you're not satisfied even a year or two later.

No Costco only carries them when they get them from liquidators. Therefore you only get Costco warranty.

And yes it was a Navi World, black face, brown leather strap with deployant.

The Costco on the west side of Colorado Springs is close to the Cheyenne Mountain/Broadmore area which is a very affluent area. Therefore that Costco tends to have more upscale things.

Youre gonna have to avoid a lot of brands then. Theyve sold Rolex, omega, breitling, IWC, chopard, Tag, Cartier, Franck Muller, Longines etc.

That's great to hear! My concern was with Breitling and the way they were treating their AD's. My AD here in Minneapolis is very important to me and I wasn't going to support a manufacturer that would mix up the distribution channel by adding in a mass merchant who knows nothing about the product just to gain reach. We've all seen it before. ...sounds like that's not the case.

acro i understand how you might feel if this were to happen. but would you really sell it? i went through a "i hate breitling" phase for a while. mostly due to the new designs. but then i came to realize i do like what i own. regardless of if Costco has a couple on their shelves i think in the long run you might actually miss the watch that you originally bought because you liked it.

I have seen Breitling in some Jewelry stores that I personally think are garbage, even though they are AD's. But i still like my watches. :D

I would sell it and stop buying Breitling if they started officially distributing watches through a mass merchant like Costco. I don't care if they take a few in from time to time and sell them as a non-AD but if they become a channel I'm out. Make sense?
