All right guys this is getting to be too much. A year or so ago I sold my Breitlings because I was tired of sending them in to be repaired. I went to a couple different brands and have had zero problems. I recently purchased a Navi LE with Breitlings newest "IN HOUSE" B01 movement. I have worn this watch a total of 4 times. Petty sure there isn't supposed to be broken off screw heads floating around in the case. The screw was overtightened and broken. The reset on the chrono stopped working correctly. Bravo Breitling! What a awesome time piece.........

Yes I did purchase this watch new from an AD. It goes back to them tomorrow for a probably long trip to be repaired. Really pissed about this...I wish I could get my money back. Now I know why they put a clear back on this watch, so you can tell when it falls apart..

Aww man, I hate hearing about this stuff. Sorry that you have to deal with this. I would be really pissed, as anyone would. I have not picked up anything with the new movements, and hopefully they will get any bugs worked out. Hope they get it fixed abd back to you ASAP.

That's a pretty basic issue Mark as you know, not good. And of ocourse not the first time that we have heard of B01 problems. Hope that they can get it fixed quickly.

The AD is sending it to his watchmaker to verify it is broken. I am serious. After they verify it is broken, the screw in the case wasn't enough. Probably a replacement watch or full refund. We'll see.............

Unbelievable, but if I'm being extremely charitable I could say they need to make sure that it is actually a screw from your watch's movement and not just a random screw that somehow got in there during manufacture.

But either way, what it is shouldn't make a damn bit of difference to Breitling's decision : there's a foreign body in your brand new watch's movement that shouldn't be there, so whether it's a screw from the movement, or half a cheese sandwich in there, they should be offering you an immediate replacement or a full refund with no questions asked.

This reminds me of the watch that Tom bought for his daughter, the Chopard with floating diamonds...except your B01 has floating screws. Tell them to throw a few more in there and watch them dance around the movement. Don't expect a replacement, it's most likely a simple fix, why would they replace it or offer a full refund? That doesn't make any sense to me but good luck with that.

Yeah, I would think that will take the screw head out and give you back your watch... even if it goes back to BUSA

It is definitely a screw from the movement. I looked at the end and it is snapped off. It goes to the lever mechanism that resets the chrono. The other end of the screw is in the hole. I asked for a new watch, not a repaired brand new one. We'll see????

I think that your chances of getting a new piece will be enhanced if the loose screw damages the finish on the movement - clearly that's not something that replacing the screw will fix.
