The question says it all......Does the new 01 movement have the same wobble in the thinner Navi case?

No, primarily because it is bi-directional wind. The 7750 is uni-directional and the "wobble" or "whirring" is the rotor free wheeling in the non winding direction. Compared to some other brands I've had - IWC jumps out - the Breitling 7750 based wathces are relatively quiet.

The Navi 01 has no sound to the movement, except for a discernable ticking of that lovely movement whe you put the watch near your ear!!

So the IWC pilots have an even more distinct whirl? Seems like that would be pretty distinct if it is worse than the Navi

I dont necessarily mind it, and it does give the watch a feeling of life, but I have begun to sour on the wobble.

In my experience there is nothing quite so loud as an IWC 7750. At times I thought a helicopter was landing nearby.
