Post subject:  Poker After Dark

I was watching Poker after dark, early this morning and Patrick Antonius had on his wrist I believe it was a Breitling Super Avenger, with diamond bezel. Anyone else catch it? Shana Hiatt complimented him about his watch during an interview on the show.

Watching poker after dark. I see yet another Breitling poker player. They had a female only table and Evelyn Ng was wearing a black Navitimer with Black strap.

Sorry for the poor photo quality.

I think Patrik is going to use his diamond super avenger as knuckles to punch admin in the face. That is my prediction.

I play quite a lot of poker and a hell of a lot of players wear Breitling's.
Its like Breitling is the unofficial pro poker players watch of choice.

go jump in the lake. :!: If this supposed "legal representative" has threatened legal action of any kind at all for using his "client's" name and photo on the site he is certainly a poser, troll or the dumbest attorney in the entire world. :? Maybe the U.S. Copyright office will offer him a job as overseer of frivolous and incredibly stupid tort... :)

Just received another response. Obviously he does not understand english well.

First email he asked me to remove Antonius from the list since he has no deal with Breitling. I said I am not Breitling, and I can put him in the list if I want to. I have no legal obligation to you I told him. However I told him I would put a footnote on the bottom stating that Patrik Antonius' lawyer requested that I reiterate that Antonius is not an Ambassador of Breitling, but that he simply wears the watches.

I received a response just now saying "thank you for your cooperation. Please remove him from the list."

What the hell? Can his lawyer not understand english?

I would have thought that was obvious enough - he's a lawyer...

Besides - Antonius is Finnish, isn't he? With a Finnish lawyer, I wouldn't go all in on that he understood whatever you were talking about...

The fact that nearly every internet watch forum in the world has a celebrity list of public personalities wearing certain brands of wristwatches and that all of the pics of said celebrities are public domain with subjects of public interest suggests your next response to this person should be no response. Can you imagine posting a public photograph of a public personality such as Doyle Brunson (the "Godfather of Poker") driving a certain make of automobile and Doyle's attorney asking you to remove the photo because he has no "deal" with that automobile manufacturor? Absolutely laughable. If you have a friend or acquaintenance who is an attorney I am reasonably certain he will tell you the same thing... Ignore it. :!:
Cheers,
Ron
