Hello to everyone out there

I would love here your advise on my next Breitling purchase

I am very interested in the Breitling Chronomat Evolution with the Black Dial and Gold Roman Numerals and 18K Rose Gold Bezel on a Black Croco Deployment Clasp.
I am looking at buying again from AuthenticWatches.com (Model Number 172-C1335611/B821) has anyone purchased this watch and can tell me whats it like

I have found since I have joined this Forum the Super Avenger is such a popular watch and at the start I admit I didnt like it, but now it has grown on me. What are your thoughts between the breitling Chronomat Evolution as the one I described above, or the Breitling Super Avenger with a Black Dial

Your help would be greatly appreciated

Very different watches. The two tone Chronomat is going to look much dressier, especially with the all gold bezel, the SA is a much more rugged everyday watch. It can be dressy too, but is probably more flexible than gold, and more resilient - gold is very soft.

There is also a very big difference in size, even if you end up buying online I would try them both on to see how they sit on your wrist.

Authentic Watches is one of the trusted online sellers, just check to make sure that they leave the serial numbers intact on the piece that you are looking at.

As Roff said, it's a bit like comparing apples with bananas - they really are that different.

That exact specification Chronomat that you mention there was on my list of "must haves" for a long long time, but I ended up discounting it for two reasons - firstly (as Roff said) gold is very soft and not overly practical as a daily wear, plus the rolled gold of the crown and push-pieces would annoy me. And secondly it's just not big enough for my current taste in watches. However it is a beautifully refind looking piece.

The SA is much bigger and more rugged looking, but can still be dressy in it's own may on account of the huge amount of polished steel on display!
