....what would you build?

I know almost all of us have had a few "issues" with Breitling's current line-up and direction, so if you were in the Breitling design team, what would you build? Maybe Breitling could use this as some free market research! :poke:

For me, it's quite simple -

1. Put the B04 movement in a Navitimer World case, keep the same style of dial (obviously changed to the tricompax layout), and keep the Navi bracelet, and that would be the PERFECT Breitling IMO.

2. A second even simpler option - make a proper bracelet option for the TO Chrono, instead of just the mesh. The head is perfect as it is IMO, but a proper bracelet makes it a genuine Speedmaster alternative.

3. Last option, put a three hand in-house in a dive capable case with a PROPER (not rubber), pearl equipped bezel, and lo and behold Breitling would have a Sub, or even Deepsea, competitor.

What would you make?

i guess the limited navitimer B01 with the leather strap is the perfect breitling for me so i dont need to create one...

what a beauty, it has everything that i love in a watch, only the price is a bit to high!

For me it would be the Blackbird case and esthetics with the B04 mvt.

This is not a easy one for me but like D8 says in his number 3 I'd be happy with a SF type thing with an in-house. For me the more I think about it the more i feel the Sub C. Is the perfect watch in every way. 100% proven in-house, a price point that compared to Breitling is attractive and that super bracelet. Come Breitling get your game together!

Allow me to be the odd man out here. Add a 406MHZ ELT to the superquartz Bomber and the perfect Breitling is born... :lingsrock: BTW, all my other B's (beside the UTC modules) have been mechanicals and although I love them all, the B-1 has always enjoyed the vast majority of wrist time. :)
Best,
Ron

Bring back Titanium and a proper updated version of the Chrono Avenger and not in garish colours, and as D8 says, a nice sized Navitimer with a reliable in house movement.

My problem is that this rapidly becomes a fantasy project for me, or at least something that I have no confidence that Breitling will ever provide.

I would like to see some additional complications in line with the 'tools for professionals' theme - maybe a tide indicator on a dive watch for example. Heck a modern watch with a power reserve would be a novelty!

I would also like to see a ban on any new model that has more than three fonts on it!

Too many style options, I think for one perfect Breitling, but I'll make a couple of small suggestions:

1. Navitimer--Actually, the present B01 is about perfect. The right size now.

2. Superocean--One simple step is to bring back the Steelfish--that was easy. Actually, reduce the arabic size on the present dial a little, slightly more traditional arabic style, lume dot or triangle at 12 and steel or ceramic on the bezel. Brushed and polished (or mixed) options. Or, keep the present Superocean but put a dot on it, and put ceramic, with tasteful numbers and the dot, on a 44mm SOH with some additional bracelet options and brushed or polished option, and you'd really have a nice look.

3. Chronomat--Maybe they understand pig-latin: Ixnay the uck-Rogers-Bay.

I would take my Navi and add a pair of boobs to it. Ahhh the perfect Breitling!

Step 1 - rider tabs.

Step 2 - metal bezel.

After that, my mind is open to many possibilities.

Simple. A Navitimer B01 with water resistance to 200m. Failing that a 44mm Navitimer World with in-house movement and water resistance to 200m. Rationale: I would like to add a GMT hand and the Navi is the perfect watch for me except for the fact it doesn't have water resistance :?

I would put a regular SS bezel on the Mark VI instead of the platinum one thus making the price a little more reasonable

Step one: Go on Chrono24.com

Step two: do search for Chronomat a13352

Step three: buy
