Post subject:  What a dissapointment!!

I have been waiting for my black dial Steelfish for about a month from Gemnation...I got notification that it arrived early and would be shipped to me today. I open the packaging and everything looks great just like you would get from an AD...I see the watch and notice it is smaller then I thoutght..upon closer inspection it is not a Steelfish..

It is just a regualr SO...*@&*&@*#&#*&

my order invoice says steelfish so I should be covered, I called Gemnation and they say they are investigating and will return my call..

I will keep posted

That really stinks. I know the feeling of waiting for a watch and then somthing going wrong. Good luck and do keep us posted.

That really sucks ! It reminds me of the day I decided to buy a Super Avenger. I was out at lunch on a Friday and I made the decision after seeing one on a guy at the bar. We jumped in the car and hit all 4 places in town that had them just a few days earlier and they were all sold out. It was a very long weekend. But I got it by the following Wednesday. Every time I decide to pull the trigger on a Ling that happens to me, just a few days before I've made the decision there is always about 3 or 4 of what I want available and then when I'm ready to go pick one up they are sold out. There's nothing worse than waiting for Lings !

haha RJ! I did not even take it out of the plastic..I am not messing with it. They did not call me back yet so I am not happy about that 9 am I will be on the phone..if they leave me hanging over the weekend that is not cool!

Not looking good now..

Gemnation is playing the "mistake from supplier, Steelfish unavailable" game...the watch was still for sale on thier rebate, I think they do not want to honor the pre-price increase price as they said and are playing games..the woman is speaking with the CEO today and said she will call me back....

I told them a Steelfish is not rare and they should be able to get it given all the troubles I have gone through

Well I can say now that Gemnation CEO has stepped up to get me my black face Steelfish on pro2 for $1900..I have had so many problems this order has been a nightmare..It is amazing what can happen if you dont accept no for an answer..

hopefully the watch will be here Monday

Surprising we have ordered a Patek from them in the Past, and they were very helpful.

Even invited me to the NY office to collect (apparently they don't do that a lot?) I hope it gets sorted for you quickly

They were very kind and polite, I cannot say I do not recomend them since they have taken care of me (albeit too much hassle).

The big issue I think is that I ordered on Friday for $1900 and Monday they price went up $400..so I think they had to eat the extra cash..

I can say all this trouble has taken the joy out of getting the watch but I am sure that will all be forgotten when I see my new fish
