What do the numbers behind the strap mean? I did some research and the 4 digit number is the week and year of manufacture, but what about the letter/number combo? My Superocean says 'B5' :?

Not sure that there has ever been a definitive answer, but consensus seems to be dial colour.

none of these seem to apply to my Navi 01..

did they change with the 01's or have they done this with LEs before?

Does your navi have a metal bracelet? The OP is asking about the model number/code engraved on the bracelet.

I wrote that summary a few years ago, before the B01 movement came out. I've not looked at case numbering for in-house movements yet.

Well, it was made in week 38 of either 2006 or 2008 (can't see if it's an 06 or an 08 on my PC). As stated above the significance of the B5 is less well known, but believed to be dial colour.
