Hey all. I've found a nice used black dial steelfish that I'm thinking of grabbing, but I cannot decide if the dial is too busy and crowded for my tastes. What do you think?

WHAT?!

Say 5 Hail Mary’s, 10 Lord’s Prayers, go forth, and sin no more.

Well, I know what you mean. The Super Oceans and Colts tend to have quite a few 'tick' marks and such around the dial. The SOH 42 and 46 have a little cleaner look, although more formal IMO. To keep with a sporty look, the Omega PO seems to have a bit cleaner dial.

No. No. No. No. No.

If you want to know what a "busy" dial looks like, have a look at a B-2!

That does not look busy at all?? Really for my own taste it's kind of plain.

I am really biased but I couldn't disagree more.....They are Simply Sharp IMHO. And on rubber they just pop.

It isn't busy compared to many others.

The only thing I would remove is the small numbers going to 24, not use not the non gmt version, apart than that it's perfect

Easy tiger. Don't criticize the Fish in this pond! Jokes aside I think the SOSF is actually saved from busy- ness by the round hour markers.

I've always side with the Seawolf over the Steelie, but even the 'wolf has stenciled numbers so is not what I would call less busy. Im curious, you think the dial is busy compared to what? Perhaps a Seamaster or Submariner?

Perhaps you could keep your eyes open for the Avenger Seawolf with batons rather than arabic hour markers, similar price range.

The dial is great and the lume is fantastic. I sold mine as it was a bit heavy to wear plus the 44mm size. If they did one that was only 200m WR instead of 2000m (to keep the weight and height down) and dropped the size to 42mm it would be an ideal watch in my opinion.
