Chronospace on 152A milanaise.  This watch looks good on every strap I've got. 2 piece NATO cordura, leather, rubber but the mesh is standout for me so will be living on this for the forseeable. Even my wife likes it! Stay safe everyone. |

NWD! I ended up giving up my Navitimer41 (non chrono) and getting this beauty from Crown&Caliber: 43mm Montbrillant Datora with Silver Dial (bought around 2014, I think?). I actually like this version, without the 1/100 red ring tbh. The little running seconds hand not being red means it's gonna take some getting used to, to distinguish running seconds vs 24hour hand at a quick glance (they ARE differently shaped). A bit scratched up at the back (microscratches) but DAMN does breitling know how to do crystals well, when I took it out I kept thinking the glass was missing (had the same reaction first time I opened up my Navi41). I originally thought about Old Navi ii, it was a in worse condition but a bit cheaper, but just something about this kinda busy looking white dial really caught my eye, reminds me of an old atlas or something. (IN reality it's more of cream color, akin to old paper). It came with a rather fetching Metal Bracelet, that I fought and wrestled with for hours to get off cuz I hate bracelets. Currently on a leather strap from local artisan. Either way, severely underrated watch IMO. Not too many people talking about this. As a sidenote: DAMN this serial # is hard to read...it's either 2482813 or 2482313, the latter registers on Breitling.com (and tells me the rest of the digits of my reference number as I'd expect for this color/variation) but the former makes a LOT more sense based on what I see. I assume, at least, since it's C&C it's not a fake or anything? Has anyone registered legit but older serials on breitling.com and failed? |

Arrived end of last week, Thursday and is still spot-on timewise. Very happy with this silicon balance sprung, variable inertia wheel. And is a true GMT, i.e. hour hand adjustability. Awesome.  Chronospace & SuperOcean can have a rest for a few days I think. & with it's sister.  Keep safe. Cheers. |
