Has anybody managed to get their hands on a 2011 catalogue. All the irish AD's only have the 2010 'Pure Breitling' catalogue and a 'Runway 11' catalogue which I assumed was just a taster of the new editions and would be superseded by a full 2011 catalogue. So, is there (or will there be) a 2011 catalogue? Or is the runway 11 all there is? Thanks |

Well I'll confess to being completely confused by Breitling catalogues now. There used to be the Chronolog which was printed in September and available October / November - just in time to become obsolete because of Basel. They we got Runway after Basel which had all of the new releases in it. Finally Breitling took the suggestion that everyone made (and seemed obvious) and moved the Chronolog to post Basel and did away with Runway. Then last year they cock that up and produce 'Pure Breitling" instead of the chronolog, but that didn't have the Chronomat 01 in it because that had a separate catalogue. Now this year we're back to Runway and no apparent Chronolog / Pure Breitling / catalogue at all - I guess it makes sense to someone. So in short, haven't seen anything besides Runway and haven't spoken to anyone who seems to think that anything is on its way - at least here in Canada. Oh and Basel is a couple of weeks early next year because of construction starting in the show venue as soon as it finished so if we don't get it soon it will be just in time to be too late. |

jjalcede wrote: Clear as mud... It goes right along with Breitling's pattern of "managing" their watch offerings. You practically need a flowchart to keep track of them. |

I started asking the AD questions about the different models and what options each had- she had to pull out a 3" binder and it was very "flowchart"ish. It's ridiculous. |
