Hi Guy's,

I was browsing on the net to catch some pictures of the (my soon to purchase :D)B'ling Navi 1461, when I stumbled upon what I think, in my modest opinion, could be a preview of Breitlings corporate website design.

You can find it here;
http://2011.breitling.com/en/models/nav ... /index.php

I'm curious to find what you think.....

First personal impression:
- removed flash (iPhone compatible!!)
- more information on watches as per link above (click Donneés Techniques)

Regards,

David

Hmmm, interesting. This site has the new models and model range names listed, but some of the discontinued models are listed along with them (Steelfish, CSO, Chronomat calibre 13, Blackbird).

I hope it goes live soon. I can't stand the Breitling flash site! Nice find.

The new Colt 44 model that someone has posted a picture of appears on the website. Which is good in the sense that the web site looks like a new version that is not yet ready for release, but bad news in the sense that confirms the change in design for the new Colt.

Interesting. Clearly it's a current site with the new Colt on there, but the discontinued models still being there is a bit weird. It does seem to be a much faster and easier to navigate site, so hopefully coming soon.

Good find :lingsrock:

So the montbrillant is not a navitimer??

Do you think Breitling changed their mind about discontinuing some old models since they're on the new site?

Montbrillant range was always a subset of the Navitimer range so no sureprise to see it different here. I don't think Breitling changed their mind, the 121.5 Emerency is on there and Dassault discontinued production of the transmitter.

Hi All,

Personally I don't think we can deduct any information about the models currently in the new website. My experience is that when companies change their corporate website significantly, and that is the case; switching from Flash to HTML5 is not an exercise that can be dome overnight, a new template and a new content management system must be built. During this build and design process it has no use to carefully integrate the whole portfolio exactly right. Once the design and CMS have been signed off, it usually is the company itself that fills the content of the website with correct product assortment. I think in this case the website building agency just 'copied' the models from the current website to demo the new template.

Regards,

David

Hello,

Perhaps too many "viewers" or traffic for this unofficial website until now.
As we are monday morning in Europe, the webmaster decided to close it to the "public" in general.

Best regards,

Challenger_fr
