With the persistent problems at BUSA, has anybody tried this one http://www.swisswatchserviceus.com/ in Florida. I have not had any direct dealing with them. Also, I do not know if they polish the case and bracelet as part of the service.

I have heard positive comments from people I know that have sent watches to them.

I'm probably going to send my Navi Olympus out for service soon. I'm reluctant to use BUSA and am seriously considering trying this shop to see how they do.

If nobody else has used them in the past, I guess I'll be the lab rat.

Although there have been some unfortunate stories regarding service from BUSA, try to remember that this forum is a very small representation of all Breitling US owners. I will send my watch to BUSA when it is time because I believe that they are the best place to service my watch, and they will have access to all parts, services etc. Please let us know how the service center is if you wind up trying it out.

Any authorized Breitling service center will have access to the correct parts.

I'm a watchmaker and am personally appalled at the number of returns (and subsequent re-returns) to BUSA from this small forum. If I had that many returns in my shop, I would change careers.

It's obvious they ship it without thoroughly testing prior to shipping. Some of these obvious failures wouldn't even be committed by an apprentice, much less a competent watchmaker.

I would service the watch myself if I could get the parts. I do service my vintage 1809 and it works fine.

Sounds like you've made your mind up... give the service center a try

I have heard many good positive reviews about them. A buddy of mine who recently have 2 of his Breitlings serviced with them was very happy with the results. I think they are the only authorized Breitling Service/Repair Center in Florida.
