This may supposedly seem pretty common knowledge, I know, but I just want to ask; is the croco strap made from real crocodile skin? Sorry for being a newbie, but i actually could'nt find any explanation within the first 10 hits from google. Thanks. |

As Watchfred said, yes all genuine Breitling croco straps are real crocodile skin. That's why they cost so damn much compared to calf. I can't actually think of a higher-end manufacturer that uses the horrible croco-embossed calf leather : they either use calf as calf, or real croco. |

Breitling does make a great croco strap. I don't know that it is the best OEM out there, but it is up there for sure. The problem is the price of the croco now. I think Shark said recently that the list is now north of $700 which is just plain silly. |

I must admit that I only have eyes for lings so I'm not too up on other watches (although the ROO is sweet). |
