I am curious to know if anyone who has a Breitling Emergency had any issues at the airport? With the tight security these days I would wonder if airport security would inquire about an Emergency watch and want to know what is hidden behind the cap.

It certainly would raise suspicion if they are told it is an antenna, and they cannot open it.... :poke:

Never had a problem, or even so much as a raised eyebrow. Even after it went through the x ray.

Hello,

Same answer, no problem with the watch, I always have it on my wrist when I travel by plane.
(France, Belgium, UK & Canada in Québec city of course :D ...)

Got some questions about the watch itself, as normal, no more.

Best regards,

How about in the US? That is where security is overly strict.

Been through LAX, JFK, Miami, Vegas, DC, Seattle, Chicago and never a problem.
Things are pretty strict worldwide you know, Dubai especially and never an issue there either.

You may not want to mention that it's an actual Emergency Locator Transmitter even though it's likely the crack U.S. TSA staff would have no clue what you were saying. Just smile, call it Jewely, make the blue smurffs feel important and you'll be all set.
