I went into my AD this morning to look at Avenger Skyland and Super Avenger. Didn't know if my wrist could handle a SA...it can. Well, they didn't have any Super Avengers and the wait is as follows:

White dial - 2months
Blue dial - 4 months
Black Dial - 6 months

Can you believe it? Now what? Would you purchase on the internet?

Thanks!

The black dial SA has been on a 6 month wait for some time now. I'm surprised it's not getting any better. :?

I think on-line may be your only option, but if you do I'd recommend sticking with the well known ones - Interwatches.com, Prestigetime.com, Jomashop.com maybe Authenticwatches.com (as long as you check the serial number is in tact).

I have been waiting some 2 months (I think, cant remember exactly) for my white SA... it´s crazy.

I have almost thought about buying another while waiting, hahahaa...
6.75 or AS Blacksteel, but unfortunately my wallet is not fat enough at the moment. But maybe a Steelfish... hmmm.... or Seawolf... or or or... all these decisions!!!

I recently purchased a white dial SA from AA Time- wait time was 4 days!

They are not AD's so you dont get the warranty card but they match the warranty themselves.

Also a lot cheaper :D

So from an online retailer I could get the same SA that I could get from my AD or are they discontinued or older models?

Laieboy that is tempting!

I just placed a call to Tourneau in Las Vegas...I bought my Navi World there last month and I am waiting for the sales person there to call me back tomorrow (she's off today).

Authenticwatches has the black and white dials in stock, with serial numbers intact on Pro II for $3,775 and the blue dial WITHOUT serials on Pro II for $3,575. FedEx overnight shipping is included in the cost, I have bought from Authenticwatches on 3 occasions and had no issues with them. Just be aware that you will probably get the chronometer certificate, but no international warranty card.

I'm not a huge fan of the SA so I haven't kept up with the changes for '08. If you need a particular version, call them and discuss which version they have in stock. My Steelfish came from Authenticwatches, it was purchased sometime last year but is still the most current model with the new second hand.

neither discontinued nor old models. you just do not get the manufacturer warranty. so make sure that you stick to reliable online retailers as mentioned above and make sure that serials are intact.

Last time I was in my AD (about a month ago) they had a white-dial SA as well. Just PM me if you want a name/number.

Dandydan,

If you don't mind the White Dial, here's one you can have OVERNIGHT. I've purchased 2 SA's from these guy's, one for myself and one for my Nephew and these guy's are great.
