Hi. Dear all, I have a question about my BB Motors T complete service. I just recieved my
first complete service from Toronto Breitling Service Centre.
They charged me $ 750 excluded tax. I asked why it above the price in Breitling offical website.
They told me because it is a bentley edition. so, I accepted their answer.

Straight to the point. when I handed in, it needed to repair. the case and bezel is scartched.
after I recieved it, I take a look at it. most parts are polished and look new, but the only part they didnt polish for me is the Motors T bezel. I asked why, he told me that the bezel is special made. so it is the only part that we can not polished. I see you are all breitling lovers. So I want to ask people around to see if this is ture. thank you all very much if you could help me out here to get the answer. if it is ture what should I do.

Polishing the bezel has the potential to damage the finish that it has been given. There's not a huge amount that you can do. You can try polishing it yourself with comething like cape cod cloths (just search here) and as they aren't particularly abrasive you will probably be OK, but the bottom line is that the finish on the bezel is a surface treatment that is damaged by polishing.

But I just called to the US Breitling Offical Prime Centre. and asked if it will restore to the original look. they told me that they will do the whole polish for the watch included the bezel, and it will be restore of the original look. :x damn it. do you know how much it costs for replacement? or may i call them back to ask for a polish for this uncompleted service? $850 for non polished bezel? kidding me?

My favourite knifemaker does circular graining surface treatments on his knives, I'm sure he'd be happy to give that treatment to your watch bezel!
