I'm looking for an aftermarket strap for my Navi 01. As my Chronomat B01 is at BUSA getting the movement replaced, I most likely will not be able to take it with me to Italy on my honeymoon in a few weeks. Thus, my Navi will be making the trip with me. However, I'm not excited about the idea of wearing my croc deployant in 90 degree heat, so I'm in need of a reasonably priced aftermarket strap. Before you tell me to do a search on the forum, please know I just spent the better part of an hour doing just that. I've endlessly searched aftermarket strap sites that have been talked about in old threads and have only found a single strap that I think will work for me- the Di-Modell Chronissmo (short) from here: http://www.mywatchmaker.net/watchstraps ... straps.htm. If anyone has this strap, please let me know what you think of it. As I have the wrists of a 12 year old girl, I really need a short version. My existing Breitling deployant is the short version and is tightened as much as it can be without trimming the strap. Thankfully, it fits me perfectly. However, it's extremely difficult to find an aftermarket short version of a strap, so if anyone has an idea of where I can find some, I'm all ears. I want a black calf strap. I'm fine with tang or deployant. |

My Sinn came with that same strap. I liked it. Bob Davis will get it to you quickly, just let him know you are on a short leash. Oh, a double pun! Might want to measure the distance from end of lugs to spring bar holes to make sure the strap cut outs fit. Another place to check for short straps is watchbandcenter.com. Large variety and though in Europe, they ship Fedex and quite fast. |

Alan M wrote: ABP Paris This vendor came up a lot in my search. I checked out their website and their straps look incredible. However, the purpose of this strap is to be my "beater strap." I want to be able to sweat in it and not care. With my Breitling croc deployant, this is definitely not my mindset. ABP Paris is out of my target price range, which is under $100. |

However, I can't find any straps that are short versions. Everything they have is regular or extra long. |

Try panatime.com. Not sure if they have anything that short, but they have a ton of straps and they are cheap. |

With the exception of mywatchmaker and watchbandcenter, all the rest of these sites either do not have many or any short straps or require custom made for short strap and that takes a little time. Trust me, I've searched the net 100s of times. You have a time constraint, so most of the custom mades are not options or too pricey. All you need to do is get a rough measurement from the spring bar holes to the lug ends on your Navi and call Bob Davis and ask him if the one you like will fit. I'm betting it will. Panatime and strappedfortime are good sites for guys with normal sized wrists, not small wrists. Vintagerstraps, apb, and stonecreekstraps are great for custom made but they take time. And can be a bit costly. You could call Bob tomorrow and have the strap by Monday. EDIT - BTW, i have a new black croco short inbound and the new price is $640!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woozers, that's a 16% price increase since my last croco purchase!!! Still a $50 premium for a short strap. |

You're right on all accounts, sharkman. I'm not finding much on these sites, although there is a ton of stuff for non-girly sized wrists. I'll call Bob and see what he thinks. |
