Does anyone have any insider knowledge on whether Breitling is planning on introducing a new Seawolf Avenger model? I've noticed that the range has been boosted by the addition of battons on the dial instead of the numerals but not in all colours (English spelling!), for example the battons are not available on the yellow dial (yet?)

I'm looking at getting a companion to my titanium 2008 Seawolf Avenger and would like to know all of my options.

Kind regards

Hello to a fellow Wilmslow dwelling Breitling fan, first and foremost :-D
No plans have been announced for one as it stands. I would think that the model itself will be updated before they add other baton/colour combos.

As said above, no new version announced yet.

I'm ever hopefully that if/when one does come along it'll have a new 3 hand in-house movement inside, as that'll give Breitling a genuine contendor to the Rolex Deepsea. But that's probably a way off.

I'm also concerned that any new Seawolf will be given the non-pearl, rubber bezel..... which will effectively write it off as a professional diver's watch. I guess time will tell.

I'm waiting for a refresh on this one myself. It's in its 4th year right now so it's reasonable to think one might be on the horizon.

The entire exterior, to me, is perfect. I'm hoping the band, case, and bezel stay the same and they just update the face and hands. If it were up to me:

1. new hand set - put on beefier hands like on the new SO and use the arrow second hand instead of the square
2. new numerals - I'm probably in the minority here but I'd like to see them get the new galactic style digits rather than stencil, again like on the SO
3. optional colored inner bezel, again like the new SO

Basically, if they were to combine the SO face with the size and case of the Seawolf, it would be a perfect watch.
