I own 5 Breitlings. In total, my Montbrillant and Headwind have approximately four days of wrist time due to service issues.
I picked up a Montbrillant Eclipse with a White Dial last September for a song, but it needed a bunch of work, including a new crystal. Since it was originally mineral, it was replaced with sapphire, but in the process the slide rule was scratched. I finally had that replaced, as well as a part on the moon phase, but when I received it, the moon was not advancing on it's on, so back it went. I just received word that it's all set, serviced, tested and and working like new!
When I sent that one back, I also sent the Headwind I acquired in May. It was in about 90% condition, but was running 60 secs slow a day, so wanted to have it serviced. I sent it in with the Montbrillant, and that one is ready as well.
Should have them back in the next week or so. Since I've never really worn either, I'm pretty darn excited!
