I am using a DPII strap on my Super Avenger which I love because it's so comfortable to wear.

However, in hot weather the band becomes very wet due to sweat and it just makes the watch looser than I prefer.

Thinking to get an Ocean Racer strap, will this be help? as I'm thinking the holes may offer better ventilation and maybe reduce sweat?

When its 40 - 47 and rising here I am more concerned about loosening the strap on my Steelfish than sweating. I have an OR on my Steelfish. That said I have never really noticed a sweat build up during the day. I can say that after running in the morning with my GShock there is quite a bit of sweat on the band and caseback. Hope that helps.

I have an OR on my Airwolf Raven and love it, no sweating, but then I do wear my watches loose, a bit like a bracelet :lingsrock:

:yeahthat

The 6 holes in the OR might be of help though.

I prefer the DPII, but occasionally wear the OR. The underside of the DPII is smooth whereas the underside of the OR has grooves(like the original Diver Pro). For that reason I find the DPII more comfortable. For the same reason you may find it has more grip when your arm sweats. Not sure the Rally holes will make much difference, but the rougher surface should.

Or if it starts to slip you can just cinch in up with that great deploy clasp. :poke:
