Sent my watch off over a month ago with a problem with the date wheel and asked them to look at the dial as I was not happy with it, after being told numerous times the new dial should be here soon I got told today that it is on back order until the end of July!!!!!! So that would mean they will have had my watch for almost 3 months.

I am not best pleased, and I can not get my watch back as they has taken it apart. I was planning on selling it when I got it back but this puts that all back now.

Very frustrated and not sure what to do

If they are waiting on a dial from Switzerland then there's not much that you can do.

Regular service / maintenance parts are kept in inventory at the service centre, but it's not practical to keep every possible dial combo in inventory and it's not a part that needs to be replaced often.

Hi Nik

sorry to hear the latest, I've followed your saga with your 6.75 and it must be really frustrating.

Did you buy a cheaper watch to wear while yours is being repaired?

What are you planning to buy after you sell your 6.75? All I can suggest is you plan for that to keep your spirits up! I guess you couldn't buy your next watch now and sell the 6.75 when it's returned?? That would involve quite a lot of cash though.

Hi Martin, either a transocean le, navi 01 or maybe a jlc master compressor chrono 2 or maybe jlc master control chrono, need to go up to Newcastle to try on the jlc's first before I decide

I feel your pain, but based on your signature, it looks like you've got a Fish to keep you happy in the interim. It can't be all bad.

Unfortunately, there really isn't much you can do. I've told my story too many times on this forum, but it took almost 5 months to resolve some warranty work on my BlackBird and that was the beginning of the end for me when it came to my love of Breitling.
