The two new models that just came out...

Breitling for Bentley Flying B Chronograph:
http://www.breitlingsource.com/watch_de ... ey_76.html

And the new Avenger Skyland:
http://www.breitlingsource.com/watch_de ... ne_77.html

I really like the skyland.. its a Stainless version of the Chrono Avenger with cool stencilled arabics... the Flying B chrono i'm not so hot on. I'd take the standard Flying B over it, and prefer the Crosswind special for a Big Date Chrono.

I like them both, they are both stunningly sexy. I would not wear either as I like the smaller Breitlings and Navitimers.

I'm interested in the Skyland.
Curious to see what this black steel looks like in person.

Yeah the black steel does seem interesting. If its Carbon Nitride based, it could be harder than diamond, which would make it VERY tough, and harder than the sapphire crystal!!! But they say that its going to be limited in the black steel... I took that to mean that the regular editions will be standard stainless.

It's suppose to come out around august or september, and the price is suppose to be around 3950$(that's what my AD told me today).

I love the look of the Skyland. I also heard from my AD that it would be released by the fall. I may be looking at my next Breitling right there.

Hallo from Germany,
are your sure about the 1000m waterproof for the skyland? I think its only 1000 feet (300m) like the Chrono Avenger!?

Well spotted! Yes it is in fact 1000ft (If the pre-reviews can be believed!)

One question I have regarding the "Blacksteel" model (which I dearly want...) - will the metal bracelet on this 'limited' edition also be black metal - seems a bit daft to have a black body with a silver strap.

The "Black steel" limited edition wil not come with a steel bracelet, it's only gonna be leather strap. But you'll have the choice with the regular edition (steel or leather strap).

Damn! This brings me back to my original whine a few weeks ago - why create a do anything, go anywhere watch and then 'oblige' you to have a leather strap?

Yes, I know there is the Diver Pro but frankly a rubber strap on a watch like this...???
