im left handed, so i wear my watch on the right hand. we will never have this problem.

just curious - Does anyone else suffer from the condition I have decided to term 'Breitling Hand'? I have owned a 6.75 since Sept 09 and I now have a rather noticeable callous on the back of my hand where the crown of the watch pushes into the back of my hand. I don't consider the watch to be too loose, and taking an extra link out would make it too tight for sure. I do wear the watch every day to work. Anyone else suffering? Should I view this as a badge of honour? |

Ive had a couple watches that the crown dug in to the back of my hand, so i got rid of them. I want a watch that looks great, runs great, and wears very compfortable. Steve |

i suspect its too tight, these larger watches need to be able to move around, can you fit your index finger between the buckle and you wrist easily? |

Yep, can definitely get a finger in there. There is space for the watch to move around, the watch doesn't dig in when it is in position. It maybe that the watch slides down a little under gravity and digs in then. It's not painful however, just annoying! Will try and attack it with some salicylic acid gel. |

I cant stand a watch that will fall over my wrist bone when I drop my arm. I spend a conciderable amount of time sizing my watches so they will 1) stay on my wrist and not my hand AND 2) not be so tight that there is an imprint on the strap/buckle after wearing it. Takes a while to get it perfect but I do like comfort and wouldn't like a crown digging in. My biggest wish list for Breilting is to develop a clasp for ALL thier straps and bracelets like the Ocean Racer. That way I can adjust to perfect anytime, without tools, as my wrist size fluctuates. |

My SOH 46 has left a pretty hefty callus on my left hand. I do prefer to wear that watch pretty tight, but really the mark doesn't bother me. The tan line from a few days on the lake with that thing is pretty funny looking but fades soon. |

I hate my watches flapping around my hand like a lady's bracelet, so I make sure they are properly adjusted to stay above the "wrist bone" and hence not dig into the back of my hand. As a result I don't have any problem with crowns, not even the massive diamond crown on my Big Pilot.

The difference between the first and last hole is approximately the equivalnet of a link. |

There are like 4-5 adjustments for that springbar to tighten or loosen. Its there so that you can make small adjustments to the bracelet size if your perfect fit is in between links. On normal models you can see the holes from the outside of the clasp, but on the Bentleys I think the holes are hidden from the outside. |
